Launched in 2018 as the retail extension of Kismet Creative, Kismet Workshop came into full bloom when founder Katie followed her curiosity into yet another arts-related workshop... except this one stuck.
Whether designing print graphics for clients, styling her home, or handcrafting jewelry, Katie's work has a visual through-line driven by a love for mid-century modern, play with color and Scandinavian-inspired minimalism. Her visual influences include Katsuji Wakisaka / Marimekko, Alexander Calder and the Bauhaus.
It's Katie's goal to develop unique, quality jewelry that will transcend trends and make you smile for years to come. Kismet jewelry is created for the individual who loves to work a pop of color and delights in the unexpected. They value self-expression through fashion and live life with a wink.
"Kismet" means destiny. It's also the name of the street Katie grew up on.
