Torus Wrap Bracelet
The shape of the Torus Collection was inspired by Chinese ping an kou amulets. Ping an kou are ring-shaped jade pendants said to bring good fortune and protection to the wearer. The circular shape represents harmony and wholeness, and, to me, inclusion, unity, femininity, connection, and vision.
Color for this collection was inspired by the painting Woman in a Chemise (1906) by André Derain. The artist was experimenting with color in new ways, taking it beyond a descriptive function and instead using it to describe emotional states.
The woman in the painting is assured and comfortable in herself; contemplative and confident. It’s what’s coming from within her—and the artist’s use of color to express that—that’s magnetic.
The Torus wrap bracelet is ready to be your new favorite! Wrap it three times around your wrist then fasten the pewter hook through the Torus ring.
The Torus Wrap Bracelet wears best when you can *just* slip one finger tip between your wrist and the bracelet. See graphic for how to measure.
